Would it work for you, or do you think it's the equivalent of a writer's kick-me machine? Do you think it would improve the quality of most fanfic?

Blech. Looks useless and frustrating to me. I yell and cuss and my computer enough.

Not to mention I would lose everything if someone came in to talk to me.

That sounds awful and would make me miserable, not productive. Besides, sometimes when I'm blocking, even writing a decent paragraph is an achievement - and then the app would delete that if I stopped? Nope.

Nah, too extreme for me. I'd rather use Write or Die.

Wow, if Write or Die is older than the app I'm talking about, then it seems that someone ripped off Write or Die's Evil setting pretty accurately.

Seems that way! Considering the article at least is written in 2016 I would assume the app itself is pretty recent too. (I must admit I didn't read the entire article though, as it stopped me due to adblock and I didn't bother to turn it off...)

It definitely wouldn't work for me. I need to be relaxed in order to do my best writing, so it would be counterproductive. I would stop writing just so I wouldn't have to deal with it. I also use Notepad to type my rough drafts because I get stressed out about grammar and spellcheck in more traditional word processing programs.

In essence: my internal editor can be quite the bitch, and is often my biggest roadblock. Apps like that would only increase her power.
