Not necessarily using your actual name, you could just do the initial.

Well, I mean, the other option is to just use my tumblr account name without mentioning that it's actually ME. I just don't know if that's ethical.

I don't think it matters, to be honest. Your teacher will never know unless they follow you on tumblr. lol

You could do that. I just figured there might be a chance you don't want your instructor/classmates tracking you down and following your blog.

I don't see why it'd be unethical.
