Re: Have you ever seen people break rules/laws at work?

When I was doing training at my second (and thank you god short lived) call centre job, we ended up with a different (and shittier) trainer 2/3 the way through, as our original trainer had to take vacation time or he'd lose it. (Our class was about 4 days ahead re: training, thankfully or I doubt we'd've made it to the floor. New Guy was that bad.)

I ended up having to report the new trainer guy for being racist--he made his eyes "go Chinese" and spoke with a "Chinese accent" in front of the class--the 19 year old girl in the class called him out for it at the time, he laughed it off. I reported him to HR and .... almost nothing was done to him, in fact they didn't even follow their own fucking HR policy--which we'd just heard about a day or so before. I know he was spoken to, but nothing beyond that. I'm pretty sure that was because he maintained/partially created an online help system for the site (it was very helpful). I really wasn't that shocked about the outcome.
