I'm the anon who posted hate against you. I regretted it as soon as I posted it but can't delete anon comments.

I can't lie and say I don't find your comments on FS under your username insufferable, because I do. But that's no excuse for me to either 1: connect that to you as a real person because I don't know you irl at all and for all I know you might be a really nice wonderful person who just happens to be bad at internet commenting or 2: make assumptions about you based on personal venting about immediate difficulties you did months ago. I think your comments reminded me (superficially) of extremely unpleasant people I knew in other fandoms and I projected my dread of them and their lifestyles on you.

The internet exposes our cowardly asshole side and I guess it exposed mine. I'll remember it and think about why I felt irritable and whiny enough to take the time and effort to write a shitty comment like that just because I was annoyed at someone.

I apologize.

Not philstar22, but in all honesty, I've had reactions like that in the past, and while obviously I can't get into your head... I know for me, it was frustration with the community and/or fandom itself, less than one or two members, even if I acted like it was. Some RL things I was upset about were also mixed in. And the thing is, even when I apologized, I ended up doing it again. And again.

What I did was step away for a while. It's very therapeutic. I'm not banning you from FS obviously - I can't and wouldn't want to anyway. But I do suggest you consider what made you lash out, and think about a small break. You're not the only person who has been frustrated with the way things seem to be rolling lately, but alienating other members never helps. Trust me. And if some of this is RL drama ebbing in... you may want to find a way to deal with that, too, if possible.

Don't be me ten years ago. You'll only feel awful about yourself.
