Yeah by people who apparently didn't get what it used to be about, based on what I heard, and now its seems to be run by people who just like to stir shit and insult people.

I don't think that is all that new for ED - they have been in the business of insulting people for as long as I've known about them.

I was vaguely under the impression that stirring shit and insulting people was always ED's main point. Of course I never really looked very deeply into it, because that site always made me start losing what's left of my faith in humanity by the time I'd read two sentences, so maybe there was some Deeper Meaning I didn't reach beneath that?

Based on what I've heard, may be wrong. When it originally went down the original creator didn't want it started back up but it was anyway.

And I've heard that in the past they were apparently more aware that it was meant to be an encyclopedia written by obnoxious trolls and they were self aware of that. But now it's written by people who are hypocritical and not as aware of being assholes.

Basically in the past they were sarcastically/ironically being awful and now they're just being awful.
