Very fun! Some attractions were way better than expected, some about as expected, and some a bit of a let down. But more places we visited were awesome than not.

The food was fantastic (Peruvian-style chicken rocks). Having so many places to eat and grab food was great (I wish I had a Trader Joe's).

Also, the metro for me was fantastic. Never felt unsafe (anywhere in DC) and it was much easier to navigate than I thought it would be.

My day in NYC was a nightmare compared to my week in DC.
