Oh wow, never thought I'd ever see a secret for THIS book.

And I actually had no idea there was a movie until today. One the one hand I'm now kind of curious about it, but on the other hand, if it's at all a faithful adaptation... damn. Just damn. I'm not sure if I can stomach seeing all that shit acted out by real people.

In any case, this is quite a secret lol.

Not seen this, but from reading the wiki description, I guess these are two of the bullies?

ayrt

Yeah, probably? I doubt either of them is Basini.

Yes, those are Reiting and Beineberg, the bullies.

(Dang, of course I'm late the day this posts!)

Yeah, I'm not sure if I should recommend the movie to you or not, haha. It's good, but it's definitely an intense watch. The torture/humiliation scenes are not particularly detailed, but still as uncomfortable as they should be. There's also an added scene of a mouse briefly getting tortured, FYI. The movie cuts out a lot of the more introspective and some of the sexual elements, but the main story between the four boys is very well told. It's also intereting to watch as an arthouse movie from the 1960's.
