Re: What is some media you've given up on?

Wanted - I found all the characters so unlikeable and boring. This is the only movie that I have never finished watching.

The Mentalist - After Jane shot "Red John" in public and then it turned out it wasn't Red John, and Jane didn't go to jail, I was done.

American Gods - I didn't get very far into this. I just found it boring and uninteresting. I need to be hooked quicker I guess.

Frankenstein, Les Miserable - I stopped reading both almost right out of the gate because they both started in ways that I didn't expect. I thought I knew both stories so I was confused why the one story was in the north pole and the other was all about this random priest. Now that I know more, I think I'll give Frankenstein another shot, but I don't think Les Mis is for me.

Maus - too slow and not enough momentum.

7th Guest - I just reached a point where I couldn't solve the puzzle. Then the game became outdated on a new computer and I just never beat it.

Maus, the comic book? It only takes like 30 minutes to read.

Well, obviously, your experience is not everyone's.

Les Mis took me a year to read. I really liked some parts of it, but many parts were seriously boring. I gave up on Frankenstein when I first read it, but recently had to read it for a class and really enjoyed it. I hope you end up liking it if you give it another go.
