I want to see James Marsters in EVERYTHING.

I don't care if I never see him in anything again. Which is pretty much how it has turned out, be honest. For all the "Marsters is the new superstar" declarations thrown out by people who were really just up Spike's ass and couldn't judge acting ability to save their lives, his career has tanked since.

There are loads of actors who were beloved on one show but never hit those heights again. I think Marsters was great in Buffy and Torchwood. He'd probably do very well in a procedural or something.

nayrt

Never saw Torchwood, but as Spike in Buffy? Oh yes, he definitely ran away with the role. He was great, just the right balance of snark and menace and petulance. Enjoyed the character on both BTVS and ATS.

If you liked that, the Torchwood scenes are a treat.

He's basically a similar character, except a time-traveling omnisexual sociopath.

Hmm, I may have to check that out, thanks!

He got me into Torchwood fandom. I blame this.

Wow, thanks for linking that. Loved it!

I don't care if you never see him again either, but speaking for myself, I personally wouldn't mind seeing him pop up in another TV show. I think he usually puts a fun twist on the characters I've seen.

"Everything"? How about Empire?

I want to see James Marsters in NOTHING.

At all.

Not a single stitch of clothing.
