are all my dreams coming true at last
thank you for providing this information

Yes. Yes he does. They've switched the genders on all the roles, and Hemsworth is playing the secretary character.

That's such an awesome idea for a remake. I want to see more movies like that now!

He's playing Annie Potts character, so he might actually not be a Norse god type.

I haven't watched the original Ghostbusters so this comment makes no sense to me. I'm just really into good-looking male secretaries and Chris Hemsworth is very much up my alley.

How many good looking male secretaries are there in movies? Hell, how many male secretaries period? Hemsworth's not my type but I'm definitely interested in this on a conceptual level

There is Ryan Reynolds' character in The Proposal, though he's referred to as his boss' assistant most of the time and he's only called her secretary as part of a joke. Male secretaries whose looks are usually unmentioned do exist in old British literature back when being a secretary was considered a good position for a man of education, but they normally have only a minor role. They all have a special place in my heart when I find them though. I don't know why male secretaries are my kink, but get a perfectly normal male character, make his occupation some kind of assistant or secretary, and I'm hooked ;;

He does.

He was in the trailer for like 2 seconds.

I was not ready for that first picture ... omg

The secretary in the original film was ... different. Nerd doesn't quite cover it, but comes close.

You mean Chris Hemsworth's character could be a nerdy secretary?

I see that this is going to be one movie I'll have to see alone.

Oh, yes. Now I have to see this movie. That white T-shirt. Damn. And he looks sexy in glasses. And the hair. How is this man so hot? No one comes close to him in my eyes.

(Anonymous) 2016-03-20 08:40 pm (UTC)(link)
Ooooooh.

So I've not really seen much in the way of stuff this guy's been in (that I can recall right offhand), but..damn, this is working for me. Very much.

Oh my. What a glorious 2 seconds. *stares*

I really really really hope they make him a bit odd and nerdy and just...not a hunky hero-in-training. Annie Potts and her deadpan, over-the-glasses delivery was *so awesome*.....

Based on some promo pics and videos, I'd say he is a bit nerdy at least.

I hope he's both hunky and nerdy. You can't really make Chris Hemsworth unhunky. But he can still be nerdy.

I didn't have plans on watching the movie but I've changed my mind. I mean, goddamn!

This is also relevant to my interests.

Oh, yes. Hey, Ghostbusters won't be the worst movie I've gone to see just because Hemsworth was in it. I could stare at him all day. He's pretty much the ideal man as far as my tastes go. He's the top for me.
