I'm not sure if I'd go that far but he's not my favorite actor. A lot of the roles I see him seem to have this... weird lecher vibe to them that it feels like we're supposed to overlook because it's Bill Murray.

That's absolutely part of his characterization.

In Ghostbusters, at least (it was actually worse in the novelization). Can't speak to the other roles that you've seen, though.

I actually think he's kind of a weird lecher in real life too. I mean, I may think the Charlie's Angels movies are stupid, but the way he treated Lucy Liu was just shameful.

...I'm not sure I want to know what he did to Lucy Liu but I'm glad I'm now justified for being tired of his ass bc my screenwriting prof in college loved his movies too much for my taste.
