A bit inspired by secret #7

(Anonymous) 2016-03-20 10:04 pm (UTC)(link)
What's your favorite creature in film and/or TV?

Personally, I loved the dragons in Reign of Fire and the wildlife of Avatar was definitely a treat.

I also love it when horses are properly animated as far as gaits are concerned. The flaming horse in Ghost Rider is a prime example.

Oooh hard one.

I love Draco from Dragonheart, he's got such a lovely design, but Haku from Spirited Away is also a really nice Eastern Asian dragon and Gizmo is also a personal fave as well as the Gremlins.

But it's probably Draco though since I love dragons.

Draco has a very friendly look ( and what a voice!). I always get misty eyed at the end.

Gizmo is so cute. I'm thinking that those Furbies are evil versions...

I have never been able to finish Dragonheart without crying, it's actually impossible for me apparently.

Gizmo is one of the cutest movie creatures for me, I love him to bits and I've wanted a Mogwai of my own for years. Yeah I don't doubt that Furbies are modeled off of him a little(and they are indeed, evil).

My first dog was named Gizmo! He was so damn cute though, I'd never be able to handle one as a pet. That thing would get wet in like 5 minutes.

I approve of the name for the dog, good choice. :3

Ha yeah, I'd like to think I can handle one but I'd probably fuck it all up in no time(especially considering the 'no feeding after midnight' rule, like how exactly does that work? Because it's technically always after midnight and it's always midnight somewhere, do Mogwai have internal body-clocks that match to the hemisphere they're on? I have many questions...).

One of my siblings would purposefully drop water on it. :

Oh no! Not the dog! We all loved Gizmo.

I meant if I had a mogwai. I would be like, "Guys, we can't let it touch water because the old Chinese man said so." And then they would probably like fling water at it from their fingertips.

Dammit I was right the first time, I'm having a smarts day.

I know a few people who'd deliberately dunk it in water just to see what would happen, thankfully the water bit isn't the thing that turns it into a psychotic little ball of evil.

Oh wait...water gives you more cute mogwais. Why wouldn't anyone do that and then sell more mogwais?

This sort of happens in the movie, though not to sell them. Gizmo accidentally gets wet iirc and they end up with more, think it'll be manageable, then they get into the food and it goes swiftly to hell.

But, I supposed if you set it up properly rather than it being an accident(and gave buyers 'how to care for your Mogwai' pamphlets) then it could be a neat little set-up. Though you know some idiot would ignore the instructions, because people.

The dragons in How To Train Your Dragons because of the sheer variety!

Also, a bit less known. The hellhounds from Chronicles of Riddick were so cool. I wish we saw more. They had those weird scales that would change color and that they could shake to make a rattle noise.

Absolutely! And especially in the second movie.

Oh, I liked those too and the "pangolian" skin they have.

Gonna have to go with the Beast in Disney's Beauty and the Beast. He's so fucking hot that movie might as well be porn.

Dragons in any version. I'm obsessed with dragons. I also really like phoenixes when they show up. I really like fire things.

I love gryphons, but the only movie I have seen with them in it was The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.

I love the dragons from the How to Train Your Dragon franchise. My favorites are the Sliquifier, Egg Biter (I really hope they add it to the School of Dragons), and Razorwhip. I wish the film Monstrous Nightmares looked like the one from the stage show.
