A bit inspired by secret #7
(Anonymous) 2016-03-20 10:04 pm (UTC)(link)Personally, I loved the dragons in Reign of Fire and the wildlife of Avatar was definitely a treat.
I also love it when horses are properly animated as far as gaits are concerned. The flaming horse in Ghost Rider is a prime example.
Re: A bit inspired by secret #7
I love Draco from Dragonheart, he's got such a lovely design, but Haku from Spirited Away is also a really nice Eastern Asian dragon and Gizmo is also a personal fave as well as the Gremlins.
But it's probably Draco though since I love dragons.

(Anonymous) 2016-03-20 10:17 pm (UTC)(link)Gizmo is so cute. I'm thinking that those Furbies are evil versions...
Re: A bit inspired by secret #7
Gizmo is one of the cutest movie creatures for me, I love him to bits and I've wanted a Mogwai of my own for years. Yeah I don't doubt that Furbies are modeled off of him a little(and they are indeed, evil).

Re: A bit inspired by secret #7
Ha yeah, I'd like to think I can handle one but I'd probably fuck it all up in no time(especially considering the 'no feeding after midnight' rule, like how exactly does that work? Because it's technically always after midnight and it's always midnight somewhere, do Mogwai have internal body-clocks that match to the hemisphere they're on? I have many questions...).

I meant if I had a mogwai. I would be like, "Guys, we can't let it touch water because the old Chinese man said so." And then they would probably like fling water at it from their fingertips.
Re: A bit inspired by secret #7
I know a few people who'd deliberately dunk it in water just to see what would happen, thankfully the water bit isn't the thing that turns it into a psychotic little ball of evil.

Re: A bit inspired by secret #7
But, I supposed if you set it up properly rather than it being an accident(and gave buyers 'how to care for your Mogwai' pamphlets) then it could be a neat little set-up. Though you know some idiot would ignore the instructions, because people.
Re: A bit inspired by secret #7
Also, a bit less known. The hellhounds from Chronicles of Riddick were so cool. I wish we saw more. They had those weird scales that would change color and that they could shake to make a rattle noise.

(Anonymous) 2016-03-20 10:26 pm (UTC)(link)Oh, I liked those too and the "pangolian" skin they have.

(Anonymous) 2016-03-21 04:11 am (UTC)(link)I love the dragons from the How to Train Your Dragon franchise. My favorites are the Sliquifier, Egg Biter (I really hope they add it to the School of Dragons), and Razorwhip. I wish the film Monstrous Nightmares looked like the one from the stage show.
Re: A bit inspired by secret #7
Tribbles from Star Trek.
Altivo from Road to ElDorado.
