Re: Anime/manga talk

I have just this weekend gotten interested in Okami-san and Her Seven Companions, and Prince of Stride. I'm not sure I'm really keen on the latter, because I do get very tired of sports anime where there is one [1] girl, and she is the manager (a job that seems synonymous with 'dogsbody'), and never does any actual sport (even in sports that aren't gender segregated, I mean). But we'll see.

Just curious, what sports are you thinking of that aren't gender segregated? In the US where I live, all school sports have separate teams for boys and girls, and I'd be very surprised if it was different in Japan.

At my school, fencing and equestrian sports were not segregated, but that might be somewhat due to the low number of participants.

And in middle school, swimming too.
