I'm sorry to hear that. Can you bring the results of the blood tests with you to the new doctor? Especially if you paid for them they should really be yours and your doctor should hand them over to you if she hasn't already. Or were they bloodtests to check if the surgery could be performed safely? (My father takes an anticoagulant; he had a surgery last year and it took a week of bloodtests to see if the anticoagulant had left his system until he could actually have the surgery.)

The blood tests were pre-surgery hormone level testing, so they'll have to be done again.
