Yeah, I seem to recall them drinking coffee as least as much as they drink tea. And since this is about fanfic: Back when I was writing fanfic for this fandom, if I had them drinking, it tended to be coffee more than tea; partially because the show itself did that and partially to intentionally subvert the "British = tea drinkers" trope.
