That was part of the reason we destabilized the entire Middle East ten years ago, to fuck over Europe who rightly realized that a massive refugee crisis was bound to wash up on their doorstep sooner or later. That is why France and Germany were so uptight in trying to prevent the whole thing, the UK foolishly thought that it wouldn't affect them, but were wrong. However, splitting the EU internally and politically, causing a currency crisis, and re-establishing internal borders were all key to America making sure the EU would not evolve as a state that could provide a strategic counterbalance or eventually become a threat to the petro-dollar.
