Re: Anyone seen the new batman film yet? Spoilers

Uh I don't have a problem with Lois Lane being saved? That's kind of her thing with Superman. But she is a gutsy and charming reporter.

I liked it more than I thought I would. It wasn't great, but it was way more watchable than Man of Steel was. They are trying way too hard to be super grimdark though. I enjoyed most of the acting (aside from Lex Luthor) Zack Snyder needs to quit it with the lightshows and dream sequences.

yeah i didnt like the dream sequences either, i think they didnt fit the sequences in the right places. the dream sequences happened too often at the start and i wasnt a fan of how often the scenes would fade/cut to black or white.

i agree there are valid complaints, but every superhero movie has suffered the same problems. it's good that they brought them to light, i hope if these issues arise in other comic films, it will be pointed out.

idk if they were trying too hard to be grimdark considering dc comics are grimdark (although the fx could have be toned down in some scenes), overall i enjoyed the movie and am intrigued about the future films.
