Omg I feel this so hard, and particularly about Guild Wars II. I've also really wanted to try getting into rping in those games but it seems overwhelming and i wouldn't know where to start. I just wanna like play with a few friends and we do some rping and whatever and it's casual haha.

There are a few RP-based guilds out there that do RP events - if you want to get into that side of things, those might help make you feel a little less self-conscious.

(One of the few things I dislike about the Megaserver roll-out is that it means we don't have the unofficial RP servers any more, but the RP guilds have definitely grown more robust to compensate.)

I love playing WoW by myself but having people to goof around with is also really important to me as well, I'm just glad that my guild's got at least some active players at who are fun to chat to and do old achievements with.

Me too! I'm not good at random MMORPG friendships, so I always end up playing on my own. I actually have some friends playing Guild Wars II (one of them got me into it!) but these days I don't really have time to play... *sadface* And absolutely no-one wants to try Champions Online, which I kind of adore.

Maybe we should make a F!S guild? :~D

I know what you mean. I stopped playing Guild Wars because I couldn't progress in the game by myself and didn't really have anyone to help me. Which is really sad because I loved Guild Wars aesthetic and wanted to get invested in the story. For a combat based MMO, it wasn't that complicated either.

My friend got me into Star Stable Online and that has become an addiction. Because it isn't combat oriented, I can explore with her or by myself. The graphics are similar (Even though the clothing aethestic isn't). And I would get more invested in the story... if the company would get invested.

Oh man, same. I love Guild Wars 2 and it's fun to play alone in but I'd love having a guild or friends to play with. :<
