I argue with creationists on twitter for fun, and they end up saying stuff like "Evolution is bad science, it's just blind faith", because they know that the epistemological authority of science in the current era is greater than that of faith, so they try to discredit evolution in a more modern way. Cos they got nothin'. Faith is great and all, but it's not reliant on falsifiable evidence, and no longer can gods step in with the same authority to explain natural mysteries. They can answer "why" and "should" but not really what "is".
