...I was just going to post the same thing.

I feel so unenthused by the idea of being in a relationship that a man could appear on my doorstep with an angel of the Lord beside him saying, "This is your soulmate. You and he were made for each other and your relationship will be happy and fulfilling for the rest of your days," and I'd still be like, "...Uhhh.....could we just be friends for a while...or maybe forever..."

My past relationships have all involved me feeling pressured to change myself to conform to his lifestyle, and I like my low-key life right now and don't want to change anything about myself or make room for anyone else in it. And I've felt this way for years and am almost 40, so I get the concerned questions and eager offers to hook me up with random dudes from friends, coworkers, even my dental hygienist(!?), all the time.
