Bertie Wooster really grew on me. I thought he was just the typical idiot character, but I fell in love with him as I found out he was so much more than that.

Drumknott had to grow on me too. It's just that he was such a minor character that I didn't notice him at first, but the more interested I became in Vetinari, the more interested I became in Drumknott too.
