Re: Little movie/show scenes you love

There's a scene in The Usual Suspects that involves Kevin Spacey being interrogated by Chazz Palmintieri, and he makes this teeny tiny smile with just his eyes when Palmintieri walks behind him, then immediately lets his eyes go blank once Palmintieri comes back around to face him. It is so small most people wouldn't catch it, but it's there.

That reminds me of another scene -- in Ghost Dog with Forest Whitaker, where he plays a hit man who lives as a modern-day samurai, there's a scene where he walks down a sidewalk full of people, but "coincidentally" they all happen to turn away at the moment they would have seen him, so in effect, he was invisible to them. The scene is shot such that this is handled subtly, so it's likely many viewers wouldn't notice what had just happened.
