Re: Characters You Grew To Like

Bruce Wayne/Batman. Back in the day I just thought "oooh look at me I'm so edgy with my batcape and my batmask and my emo eye shadow ooooh" but as I grew, I ended up appreciating him as a character. Specially seeing as he's a normal dude in a world of super heroes.

And I guess confession time? I really hated what Nolan did with Bruce's character. Specifically when Bruce lashed out at the rich folks at the party. My memory is blurry about it but isn't Wayne Enterprises getting money for charity and shit? That's Bruce Wayne's job, to appear as a callous rich guy in front of the crowd while he does his job as Batman. I really liked about that about him because it was a good way to hide his identity. And don't get me started on the third movie where he goes all TROLL IN THE CAVE bullshit. But again my memory is quite murky aside from explosions and stuff going down.

Oh and I forgot Jean from SnK. I dropped snk back when it got into politics, but picking it up again now that they are back to the titans plot and I love how he's grown so much. I mean, I didn't hate him back in the day but I thought he was just going to be that guy who antagonized Eren in the series. Thank goodness it's not like that. He became my fave during the Female Titan arc and he's grown as his own character and I hope he lives through this whole mess.
