Do you really expect any different. There are barely any fics pairing Dean with women he spent way more time with like Jo or Lisa. This fandom is pretty much exclusively slash.

Eh, I've read quite a lot of het in this fandom.

I haven't been in SPN fandom in forever, so maybe it has changed, but back when I was in the fandom, the fanfic rec comm had one day of gen, five of various slash pairings and one of "het and other slash" that usually ended up as slash pairings. Het was a very rare thing. (Hell, most people hated the female characters.)

It's never really been a pairing I considered before, but I would read it. Maybe try writing a couple of ficlets and posting them? I'm not saying this in a "well why don't you write it then?" kind of way; it's just that a lot of the time people will write a certain pairing when they see that someone else is or they won't realize that they're even interested in that pairing until someone posts a fic for it and they might be inspired to do the same

I was gonna suggest the exact same thing! Sometimes the best way to start a trend in fandom/drum up interest for a thing is to create a little bit of it yourself. I see it all the time - a person will be like "hey what about this ship?" and then draw or write something for it, and people will see that thing, be intrigued, and want to create content themselves.

Sam and Kevin were at the library, when Mrs. Tran showed up at the door to Dean's motel room. "I'd forgotten how much tatoos itched when they're healing," she said. "I need some distraction."

Dean wasn't sure what help he'd be, but it was probably better than drinking whiskey and trying not to think about Purgatory. "What can I do for you?"

"Sit," she said, and pointed to the beds.

He plunked himself down on the end of his bed. She smiled, as if she'd won some private bet with herself, and flipped the security latch on the door.

He looked up at her, puzzled. He'd expected, well, he wasn't sure what he'd expected, but it certainly wasn't her grabbing a fistfull of his hair and tilting his face up to hers. Then her mouth was on his, and when he opened his mouth to say maybe we should think about this first, her tongue darted inside.

She kissed him until he was gasping and breathless, and finally she pulled back long enough for him to speak.

"Mrs. Tran. We -- we shouldn't."

She released her grasp on his hair, stepped back out of his space, and he didn't know whether to be relieved or disappointed.

"We're both adults," she said. "If you don't want to do this, I'll respect that. But if you do want to, all you have to do is say so."

She turned and walked toward the door. Raised her hand to unlatch the door.

"Yes," Dean said.

She turned back toward him, eyebrows raised.

"Yes, I want to do -- " He grinned up at her. "I want you to have your wicked way with me, Mrs. Tran."
