I remember liking the film but I haven't seen it since I was a kid. I don't really remember it all that well except that it was extremely different than the books. I read the books in college and enjoyed them a lot so I hope they can do the story justice for once. Maybe if its not animated they'll be able to do the story justice. I'm not too worried. Disney has changed a lot as a company and they have been more willing to cover darker material lately. They've done a really good job with Marvel and Star Wars so I don't really see it being different. I want to see what they do with The Jungle Book first since that looks suitably dark.
