Not OP, but... That secret was the first time I've ever encountered Dolphy. I went to her gallery and it took me all of three second to come to the conclusion that the character was a self-insert.

And then I browsed and found her friend who has a self-insert for John Silver.

Both artists are in their 20s.

Just.... WAT.

My poor fandom. :(

Isn't it a shame? :/ Treasure Planet was such an awesome movie. Jim and Silver both were such interesting adaptations from the original story.

If this chick was an OC, I'd shrug it off as a sue. But the fact its pretty much the artist _herself_ makes me inwardly puke.

I think the age excuse for self-inserts stops at what....12?

I respect her skillful photoshopping technique but some years later found her ATTUTUDE was DISGRACEFUL.
