I didn't say anything about pedophilia or being uncomfortable, my God. I don't care about the age gap. I am saying even two-year age gap pairings aren't popular in this fandom, ergo it doesn't make sense for the one pairing that has that age gap to be so popular.

What the fuck? So you think people decide their ships based on the characters ages and a two-year age difference between them, and because the other older/younger student pairings aren't as popular as same age ships, KiyoYachi can't possibly be shipped that much either?

Yes? People have type preferences for ships and KiyoYachi doesn't match the fandom's type preference.

IDK what kind of bizarroland you live in, but IRL fandom isn't a monolith and most people ship pairings based on various dynamics. Just because someone ships KageHina it doesn't mean they can't possibly ship KiyoYachi because one has a small age gap and the other doesn't. And even if you believe in your weird theory that fandom only ships characetrs who are in the same school year, you're wrong. People ship m/m senpai/kouhai all over the fandom too (AsaNoya, OiKage, YakuLev, KuroKen, BokuAka, KuroTsukki etc. to mention a few).
