66. I don't get where people get this idea of "their" happy ending. It would have been her happy ending if they stayed together (and, you know, alive), but his happy ending would have been if he had found out Lucy was alive, maybe had his love overcome his grief and revenge-lust, and decided to take Lucy and Johanna away to live the best life they could. Maybe that's a naive idea, but I think Sweeney/Lovett is even more so.

Fear and hiding are symptoms, not the problem.

They're symptoms that perpetuate the problem. I know fear is a hard thing to overcome, but no one is ever as alone as they feel. When one person stands up for themselves, they usually find there are other people like them who were just waiting for someone else to speak up.

I think that's debateable. Mostly I don't like it because it moves the onus onto the person being being harassed/ridiculed. I do see your point, though, yes, and that's my approach, personally.

66-THANK YOU. Do people NOT SEE how selfish Lovett was?!?!? And come on! He's a crazy murderer! The only person he wanted was his wife, and when he thought he'd lost her, he was past the point of being interested in anyone because he got tangled up in his revenge!
