ARTHUR WAS THE SHIT. So was Reading Rainbow with Lamar Burton. I'm pretty sure they're the reasons I want to write and illustrate children's books. PBS is the best network. If I had money, I would donate to them to keep shows like that on air (not to mention all the other programming I started watching as I grew older---definitely a window into different places, events, and people's lives I would not have encountered otherwise).
