I actually kinda like reading WIPs? I tag them to alert whenever something new is posted, so when I get that email it's like AW YEAH and pretty much makes my day.

Not that I don't have a huge list of completed works bookmarked, but those are like...a good book series that I've read (and probably re-read) but it makes me sad because there's no more.

Me too! I really love the feeling of "OOOoh ooooh, I wonder when-- yisssss an update!" and getting that nice delicious bolded notification email.

OTOH, I do tend to prefer authors who have already written and completed previous WIPs and if I've read those, because I do like to feel reasonably confident that they will finish the one I'm reading in a satisfying way.
