I rarely ever let go of any of my pairings or fandoms, except for a few rare pairings that I ended up evolving on who I was shipping.

But I think my oldest OTP is Greg/Gil from CSI. They're just so perfect for each other.

I didn't ship them when I was first in the CSI fandom (when I was like 13) because I was squicked by the large age difference but I got super into it when I came back to the fandom several years later. They have an interesting dynamic

I think they might be responsible for my huge Age Kink (which I have like whoa). When I started, I read all the slash pairings. None of them really hit me like Gil/Greg did. It was too bad that it was so hard to find IC fic for Greg. Sadly, I think I might've contributed to that.

Still my favorite couple though.

I have a major age kink now too but I honestly can't remember what started it (I feel like it might be sourced back to Giles from Buffy though).

I know what you mean about the Greg fic though. People really liked to make that boy the biggest woobie to ever woobie. Admittedly, I was perfectly fine with that when I was 13 but now it kind of grates on me. It also bothered me that a lot of the slash fic back in the day had Sara bashing (even when I was younger I found it aggravating but eventually it became an instant back-button for me. It's fine to personally dislike Sara as a character but it doesn't make sense to have the actual characters treat her like she's an unbearable harpy)

Wincest. I've shipped a lot of pairings in a lot of fandoms and while I'm very fond of them, Wincest is the one that I always go back to

I have recently begun a downward spiral back into McShep. Like fuck, I thought I'd gotten it all out of my system circa 2009.

I go back to pretty much all of them at some point, usually when I feel like reading something different so I'll go rummage around for an old ship to see if there's anything new.

Not really. For a long time that pairing was Harry/Hermione, but I've finally drifted away from it.

I feel like Melkor/Sauron is going to become that pairing for me, but since I've only shipped it for a couple years it is too soon to tell. I've never gotten this obsessed this fast, though, and I've joined fandoms since then but haven't been quite as interested. And it has taken over my fandom life to the point I don't spend much if any time in any of my other fandoms.

not actively, but if someone were to casually slip me some really gorgeous writing or art featuring a Saiyuki pairing (any Saiyuki pairing) or my extremely unpopular YGO: Duel Monsters pairing, I'd eat it up and ask for more.

having been in fandom over 15 years, it's more likely I'd go back to pairings that weren't very big in the first place, over ones that were prolific back in the day and I'm oversaturated on.

Honestly I'll always be invested in Josh and Donna from The West Wing. A lot of other people I'm forgetting, I'm sure, but Josh and Donna came to mind first. <3

Drakken/Shego. Whenever my current writing project starts frustrating me, I drift off and hammer out a couple hundred words about them to get back in the groove.

I wish there more actual good fic for it. :/ Being a Disney property popular with young teens and preteens means there's a ton of crap. Not to mention the whole Shego/Kim pairing oveshadowed Drakken/Shego with older fans. :( But I always had a huge soft spot for those two. I wanted it to be canon SO BAD.

Doctor/Master. It's been one of my OTP since 2009 and I know it's going to last forever. I jumped more fandom that I can count these years and still when I really want to FEEL something I go back to them.

Steve/Bucky/Sam is close second as my OT3 but it's been not that long (I actually ship Sam/Bucky like burning and the only thing i really want form CW is them bonding ooops)
