I would never approach a dog who is home alone. My dog was the sweetest guy in the world, and even he growled at our neighbors, who he knew well and loved very much, when they tried to usher him inside and close the door when we accidentally left it open, once upon a time. He was conflicted, but he'd be damned if he was going to let them up our walk.

And if they're "scary neighbors".... doesn't bode well for how they train their dog.

I hope you called the cops, or got a hold of AC. Next time it happens, they're'll be a record of this instance.

I hate people who abuse animals. So wrong for so many reasons.
