What's your favorite thing in your closet?

For me it's probably a tie between my black suit and my tailored shorts/shirt combo that actually fit me, since hardly anything else does (life is hard as a short thin man).

A pair of ruby red Anne Klein kitten heels that are falling apart and should have been tossed two years ago. But I cannot let them go because there's no place like home!

Any chance of taking them to a cobbler? I don't know how many of them are left, but I've been able to get a pretty long life out of shoes that way.

I have a couple of suits that fit perfectly and that I've worn to special occasions such as graduations, conferences, etc. I am a million dollars in those suits.

I also have a gray silk dress in the style of the 1860s. I wore it to the 150th anniversary of Appomattox. Got my picture taken with Robert E. Lee.

But my all time favorite is a blue wrap dress. My hips, my boobs, they look fantastic. The color suits me. It can be worn with or without stockings, and it can be worn with flats, heels, or boots. It is amazing and so comfortable.

My three corsets. They are the one thing that makes me feel actually sexy. I rarely wear them, but when I do I feel hot.

I have two, and I only get to wear them once or twice a year. One is a nice dark green sweater I got for Christmas; it's a huge pain to wash so I save it for special occasions. The other is a Cuban-style "wedding shirt" that I bring out when I have to attend a function during hot weather. It's an even bigger pain in the ass due to needing ironing (I rarely wear anything that needs ironing anymore since I hate it.) So I bring it out for actual weddings and stuff.

My favorite jacket! It's a designer jacket of some sort with a fun cut and a bright pattern that I got for $17 at Plato's Closet several years ago. Super fun to wear with jeans, a t-shirt, and a pair of flashy earrings.

Loved most. It's a designer coat. It's too worn really to actually still wear, but I can't bring myself to throw it out. I adored that coat.

A t-shirt with a T-888red toppled forward, held up it's snout as its dinky arms hang uselessly. The tag: T-Rex hates pushups.

My Green Lantern tank top is a favourite of mine, it's a really nice shade of green and I love wearing it during the summer.

And I also love a pair of black cargo trousers I've hard for years, they're comfy and fit just right.

A very light-weight, light grey mohair-silk-blend knee-length cardigan. It has miraculous properties and can somehow keep me warm in the winter and yet is light enough to wear in high-60s weather, too. I wish I could wear it every day.

I love the way that you often buy a new item of clothing, maybe something very simple and plain, with no idea that it's quickly going to become your favorite thing to wear. A little happy surprise.

I have a novelty sock collection. Somehow I only have one friend who knows this, and my nephews. My favourite pair are my cowboy socks and they're just the right height so the pistols look like they're sticking out the top of my boots.

My most worn item is probably my black I-can't-believe-it's-not-leather! jacket. It handles coastal weather and it goes with everything. It also (accurately!!) leads strange men to believe that I have no interest in being hit on. It's possible that it was made by wizards.

For me, it's an outfit consisting of: my Wildfox pineapple sweatshirt. It's bright chartreuse and has an antique-looking pineapple graphic on the front. It always makes me feel good when I wear it, is a very flattering color against my skin, makes me look all tan and summery. I wear it with cut offs or a pair of black beach pants, and black leather T-strap sandals. To accessorize, I add my favorite pair of hammered silver hoop earrings, my pearl solitaire leather necklace, and a simple silver midi ring or two.

I've got this retro styled mint green dress I love. I rarely get to wear it though. Because I life a messy unfancy lifestyle that doesn't require me to dress up ever.

All the costumes I've made myself, even the shitty ones. Okay, all of them are various levels of shit, but I was so happy when I put my OUAT blue Belle dress through the wash (multiple times, even) and it survived unscathed. They serve as a timeline of my grindingly slow sewing skills improvement.

Oh, you mean like actual clothes?

I have the dress I wore to my friend's wedding. It's dark green and it's got this kind of 50s silhouette and the bodice treatment makes my boobs look FANTASTIC.

My Lego crate.

I know, it's not clothing, but my wardrobe is a built-in one that has floor space where I can shove boxes, so my Lego crate is in there. I don't pull it out all that often - I probably had out last three or four years ago - but I have sentimental fondness for my Lego.

All my active wardrobe is hanging from the steps, next to me here, downstairs. My current favourite seems to be a horizontal striped t-shirt bought from Big W. It's been a good reliable shirt to wear out.

Bathrobe - so comfortable!

And my good suit. Forked out for the nice fancy tailored one in good material. I look damn fine in it! Only worn it a few times.
