You must be young.

I grew up during the Cold War and we had to read On the Beach, The Day After, and ever post-nuclear-holocaust movie/book/tv miniseries ever. We had nuclear alarm drills IN REAL LIFE where we had to run to the fallout shelter.

This was not entertainment, like you're talking, this was shoved down our throats with no ability to opt out, and even if we could, it was, you know, COLD WAR, MAD and all that.

Anxious at a movie that you can just turn off? You poor, poor special snowflake.

I'm about your age and it's given me a phobia for life. But I also feel sorry for kids of today with ENVIRONMENTAL DEVASTATION WE ALL DIE A SLOW NASTY DEATH AND IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT! At least our inevitable nuclear death wasn't our own fault.

My parents went through the same thing. Oddly enough it made them more understanding about other people's fears instead of turning them into raging bellends like yourself.

I was born in the 80s so I missed out on all that stuff and yet Threads is still the most single horrifying movie I have ever seen in my entire life. That last 10 seconds, man. Made me want to vomit-cry.
