For me personally, it'd dinner, with option on supper as a name for a late-night before-bed snack, but that option is not really common in Australia.

On the other hand I have been watching British TV food history documentaries on YouTube and have learned the origins for the terms and why the English in particular call lunch "dinner".

The explanation is that "dinner" was once eaten a lot earlier in the day than modern evening meals, because it was restricted by the amount of light people had available. Whatwe now call "lunch" was in practical terms, the meal called "dinner". Supper was the closest to the modern evening meal.

Technology that gave more effective light sources pushed the timing of dinner further and further back in the day so it became he evening meal and "luncheon" - or "lunch" for short - became the name of the midday meal.

I thank a show about the history of the meals of the day hosted by Clarissa Dickson Wright (one half of the "Two Fat Ladies") for this information. The show is on YouTube, somewhere.

Actually, I think this one is best for the first episode:

That first one on my previous comment appears to be dinner, and on a different account to the other two. This one is breakfast.
