Anyone who says that the show is terrible or only worth it for the fanservice or the fandom is dumb as fuck and should be ignored.

Eh, I don't 100% get it either. I mean they all look like they're nine.

The show does look kinda funny though, and it has made me laugh a few times.
Maybe I'll pick it up one day if I'm bored.

Honestly most of the nsfw I see for this is actually drawn on-model or at least close to it which makes it... even more unappealing to me, lmao.

I know fandom has this weird ability to sexualize non-sexual things, but my issue is more with how they all look the same.

Actually the show's pretty funny. I don't care about the fandom nor the slash (I don't even think there's that much fanservice if not to troll), but i laughed a lot watching it. It plays with lots of anime tropes and otaku culture jokes and I love that shit. It's a great comedy anime with its occasional downs.
Also, the brothers also have scenes in which they are your typical bishounen in the anime, too. So... they're canon bishounen I guess?

Eh, as their F6 versions they are generical bishounen, so the fandom isn't making that part up.

6 males with varied personalities voiced by popular VAs. They're also desperate for sex.
The art can be jarring, but in the hands of a good fanartist, the problem is gone.

From what I've seen, people like the personalities and dynamics, they don't care about the designs.

i dont understand it either. i think most of the people who like it were drawn to the genre (comedy) and how it's about neets. i assume shipping happened because fandom and shipping are so heavily linked and there's no other boys to ship them with besides each other.

but tbh if i had to see fanart of this show, i rather it deviate from the official art style though. i remember seeing this fanart that was suppose to sad but i couldnt even take it seriously because honestly how do you expect me to take it seriously when they look like bobbleheads

I was going to make a comment about how weird it is that something whose characters look like that would have an active slash fandom, but then I remembered South Park, and y'know, that one is actually weirder, so...

I don't get the sexual appeal either, personally. But I do think it's a good and funny show...there's certainly reasons to watch it beyond fanservice and shipping.

That said, its fanservice is only one element in an entire show that's quite worthwhile (really funny, surprisingly charming characters despite them all being garbage human beings, etc.), and honestly you should just watch it and form your own opinions. If it's not up your alley, no big deal.

when you frame it into a "wow they look like kids do you wanna fuck kids?" of course people are going to get defensive. i get the they look like kids (and honestly act like it), but it's really the fandom's doing for shipping them together.

also, the bishounen versions are canon. it's meant to be tongue in cheek; hardly anyone likes them anyway.

for the record, no, they're not kids; these sextuplets are 20+ years old and it's an updated design from the original manga and anime from the 60s and 80s.
