If you can afford it and it made you happy, why not?

There's nothing wrong with getting yourself a treat from time to time if it's within your budget. :-)

Also, maybe it will inspire you to improve your handwriting, or take pleasure in it when you have to write something by hand.

Alternately, if you find it no longer pleases you after a while, you can always give it to someone who needs to write a lot for their job, and will get use and happiness out of it.
