Gremlins.

I think I was seven or so. To this day I have not rewatched it because that movie gave me scream-myself-awake nightmares for weeks afterwards.

I was 4 the first time I saw Gremlins (TBS had it on super marathon for months at a time) and I had nightmares for weeks.

When I went to college, I was still petrified of this movie but everyone else wanted to watch, I had been drinking and then sat through the whole thing wondering how my nightmares had been that bad.
