It's always bothered me how the Internet lets people validate each other's crazycakes BS to a far greater degree than has ever been previously possible. Before, in the old days, if you were actually deluded enough to think you were Otherkin, and blabbed, a psychologist usually could get to you before you got to someone who could pat your head and tell you you're totally the incarnation of an animal.

Now, though, *throws up hands* I just can't even. Ugh.

Have you ever lived in a small town? It's pretty normal for someone to be the local crazy and every just says, oh, that's Joe, he lives his life as a dog, don't worry.

If Joe isn't hurting anyone where's the harm? Or do we assume all people like Joe are automatically going to hurt someone eventually?
