Me, too, anon. Lol

I feel like I need to be extra cute and conventionally pretty when I'm doing fandom stuff, just to make a statement that anyone can be a geek and not all geeks don't shower. I mean, I enjoy dressing up, so it isn't like I'm "changing myself" - I just can't be bothered in most day-to-day life activities.

This is me at conventions. Sure, I do have fandom tees and things and wear them, but I also do my hair and make sure I'm not a smelly neckbeard-Simpsons-comics-store-guy equivalent.

Apparently a lot of fans do this, because most of the fans I meet at cons look very nice and are not stereotypically smelly.

There are always those two dudes who are, though...
