There's an episode of Squidbillies that mentions 'truck nuts'. I mentioned it to a friend, saying, "I bet that would be a product that would sell around here." (the midwest...) When he told me it was a real thing I couldn't believe it. Someone would take their hard earned cash to buy nuts for their truck. The hell...?

I'm pretty sure that they simply think it's funny.

I generally think they're compensating for something, but that might just be me.
