I don't think it rewards them so much as it just... doesn't always punish them. For a series with a literal built-in karmic scale (well, clock), it can be very lax about its' characters' morality. I always kind of liked that about it, TBH.

Same. Actions have *consequences*, but there's no just world fallacy micromanaging what those consequences are - just other people reacting to everyone's behavior.
