Not to be 'that guy', but "garbage" and "trash" are also frequent insults (both the literal kind and used facetiously) used in AAVE, at least where I'm from, and I grew up using it long before Tumblr adopted it (in fact their facetious way of using it is relatively new for me, when I was younger if someone was calling you "trash" 100% they were calling you shit stain). The anon above you could be black, or hang out with a buncha black people. *Shrug* Just pointing out possible alternatives. Tumblr kinda has a thing with using AAVE though, so I don't know.

NAYRT--Not just AAVE, since I'm definitely white trash, and I learned the expression from other white trash. Garbage, though, I haven't heard used (but then, I also haven't seen it used on tumblr.)
