it was Ok for wrapping up the plot and the art style and happy ending were nice, but the expectation curve was handled all wrong.

fluid animation isn't the WHAM factor people expect for the ending of something like homestuck. sure, the comic got nicer and nicer looking, but fans didn't read the whole thing for that.

it always would have been a bit underwhelming, but I expected something more ...ambigious? the new earth is weirdly generic except for can town architecture, like a children's picture book.

I'm expecting the epilogue to handle some character stuff.
