(Anonymous) 2016-04-14 03:16 am (UTC)(link)And with Bull in particular, the qunari canonically use drugging and brainwashing to bring people in line with their way of thinking. Bull has canonically turned himself in for said drugging and brainwashing before, because he felt that the negative thoughts he was having were treason against the Qun. That he would break away from that mindset with ample support from his Chargers and his friends is reasonable. That he would, in a situation where his Chargers were sacrificed in a situation that makes it blindingly clear that even his friends consider Hissrad the qunari operative more important than Iron Bull the mercenary, double down on the qunari mindset is also reasonable, because that's how cultish indoctrination works.
