Re: Video Games Economics
There are definitely some games which make more sense in terms of how things are constructed - I was specifically thinking about the ones that don't, though, like many of the early Jrpgs.
Contrast with FFVII, though, where you end the game basically fucking loaded. Even if we assume that there was some sort of economical downturn with the loss of Midgar and Shinra, as long as the money is still being used, Cloud's pretty rich. Obviously, this is from a while of basically non-stop killing monsters all day every day.
