Sexual abuse is commonplace (that's exactly what happens in 50 Shades, which is accepted by a far larger audience than some weirdos in fandom), but you seem desperate about the genital mutilation, as though that's your only leg to stand on. Do you find media like 50 Shades totally fine, OP? Do you also share this same outrage against the people shipping Sansa with Ramsay (her rapist), Joffrey, or The Hound?

50 Shades of Gray is about a consensual relationship. Messed up but it's not about a guy kidnapping a woman against her will.

Thramsay is about a psychopath torturing another man to the point where he's barely human and practically insane. And it's probably one of the most popular ASOIAF ships right now. It's not some messed up BDSM relationship between two gay men with abusive tendencies, it's straight up torture and dehumanization by a guy who's favorite past time involves hunting naked women in the woods.

And if Ramsay/Sansa was a popular ship... then YES. I'd be bothered. But it's not. Same with Joffrey. Sandor/Sansa isn't comparable as for all its issues it's clear both care about each other and that Sandor was constantly protective of her.
