(Anonymous) 2016-04-16 01:50 am (UTC)(link)Thramsay is about a psychopath torturing another man to the point where he's barely human and practically insane. And it's probably one of the most popular ASOIAF ships right now. It's not some messed up BDSM relationship between two gay men with abusive tendencies, it's straight up torture and dehumanization by a guy who's favorite past time involves hunting naked women in the woods.
And if Ramsay/Sansa was a popular ship... then YES. I'd be bothered. But it's not. Same with Joffrey. Sandor/Sansa isn't comparable as for all its issues it's clear both care about each other and that Sandor was constantly protective of her.
