So many.

I used to cough without covering my mouth unless I was sick or standing right in front of someone. I had a constant asthma cough when I was younger so I would cough pretty much all the time while I was playing sports or walking or in class or trying to sleep, so it just seemed disruptive to raise my arm that much. I realised people don't know I'm not horribly contagious so it wasn't really socially acceptable.

You did cover them when sick or near people, so that doesn't seem to odd.
