Re: Non-Canon Pairings You Think Could've Worked in Canon

Harry Potter: Although I didn't ship it at the time (I shipped Harry/Ginny), I think Harry/Luna could've worked. On the one hand, her peculiar beliefs/behavior might have thrown him off, but on the other hand I think they had a strong connection, and he actually appreciated her sweetness. She always seemed to know what to say to help him feel better.

Mad Men: I think on a different show, Abe and Peggy could've worked. I sort of liked the idea of Peggy having a sort of double life, one with her hippie-ish boyfriend and their mutual hippie-ish friends, then work. I understand why they broke up in the show and love her with Stan, though. (Who I think is a perfect happy medium between Abe and... not Abe, basically.)

Aw Harry/Luna were my OTP when I was invested in Harry Potter, it's nice to hear someone liked it! :')

This is probably, like, the world's largest center for people who ship Luna/Harry at this point

We love that shit

I think Harry/Cho would have worked great if he'd asked her before Cedric did in the first place.

I'm not sure Rowling would have known how to write Harry/Luna, but they did seem like they would make a good pair if Rowling got a handle on their interactions.

Yes to Harry/Luna. But I think some things are better left off as an idea, since they could have been easily screwed up if made canon.
